TWO PLANNED DAY-TRIPS

Drive To The Bottom Of The Grand Canyon - Most people aren’t aware there is actually a road that leads to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. We’ll depart the Stagecoach Inn and make our way to Peach Springs where permits are required for purchase to enter the Hualapai Reservation. The cost for a daily recreation pass is $17. Once permits are obtained we will begin our descent into the Grand Canyon ending at the mighty Colorado River. We’ll do a picnic lunch down by the river before making our way back to Seligman later that afternoon.

Cruise A Historic Ranching Road - Williamson Valley Road is considered a Scenic ByWay in Arizona but isn’t listed in any publications due to the fact it’s not paved. This Historic Ranching Road first began as a game trail, then a Native American foot path, and now is home to some of the oldest homesteads and cattle ranches in Northern Arizona. Cruise past the Double O Ranch, Yavapai Ranch, K4 Ranch, and many others. This is an all day trip with roughly 70 miles of driving through the Prescott National Forest including passing by two Wilderness Areas - Juniper Mesa and Apache Creek. The terrain is STUNNING!
