"The goal of the film is to open the eyes of our audience to the possibility of following their dreams by living a more simplified life. As humans, it's so easy to get bogged down and overwhelmed with day to day activities resulting in the loss of who we really are. We inadvertently allow material possessions to define us in a way that isn't healthy and often invest our time/energy into areas which end up not providing the satisfaction we hoped to achieve. This can create the feeling of being "lost" or "in a rut" yet we push on to the next chapter believing it will provide a better sense of self worth only to find yet another uninspiring endeavor. I wasn't sure what I would find or experience by living in nature full time. I just had faith and hoped this lifestyle change as a minimalist living outdoors would free up time for me to do the activities I enjoyed most - backpacking, hiking, fishing, writing, spending time with my dog, listening to nature sounds, watching animals in their natural habitat. All of these things make me a better person and puts me in a position to be a positive influence on my immediate surroundings. We hope to capture this essence in the film inspiring others to make similar choices to improve their lives by focusing on the activities that truly make them happy. We look forward to sharing this project with you!" - Brian

Over the past year, I've had the incredible fortune of working on a full length documentary about my experience of transitioning from the Corporate World leaving that drudgery behind to living a life spent entirely outdoors in the backcountry of Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico.
