Members ONLY video - Cold Spring Cave, Bears Ears National Monument
Happy Thursday Everyone!
I'm feeling somewhat okay today so I plan to drive on out to the West Coast to go visit my old friends in Orange County. A buddy of mine has a pretty sweet place with a lot of land in Orange Park Acres and he's offered for me to camp anywhere on his property. He knows my style! I just don't sleep that well indoors so I'm thinking a tent in his backyard will do the trick.
I'm excited to share today's video as Cold Spring Cave is one of my favorite ruins. When walking this area, you can tell there was once a mighty group of people living here as the ruins are expansive. Unfortunately the archeologists haven't spent much time on this ruin yet so I don't have any information on the specifics other than over 100 people lived here on a continual basis. That's a pretty large village for 1,000 A.D., it sure would be impressive to have seen the hustle and bustle of this place at it's peak!
Tomorrow's video will be a 45 minute long saga into Moonhouse....one of the published ruins which requires a permit from the BLM to access. Only 21 people are allowed per day inside this ruin consisting of almost 70 rooms. Can't wait to share more info with you tomorrow!
Have a great day!
